I did better this year than I have in many years, thank the lord, I got wonderful gifts that I never expected, a new tv (thanks to the canadian government for my disability back payment) a 100.00 paypal transfer from an online friend, and a convention oven from my mother,
Matt was trying to wire me money from out joint account, he never uses it only me, and his computer went down at the house, I will get the money when he goes back to work.
Matt is my boyfriend, he asked me if I wanted a gift or money and I said I would rather have the money.
But I did very well,
how about you guys was santa good to you this year?

Yes, the children bought me lovely gifts for which I was grateful but we did scale dowqn this year due to the coming recession to the Island. The greatest gift was being together and I revelled in that. Blessings

Hi winterose! I am so happy for you! I am glad that you got
such wonderful gifts! You definitely deserve them! So do enjoy
every one of them! I got some nice little things from my
boyfriend. He bought me some cute socks, a scarf, hat and glove
set, a cute little teddy bear that says "I love you" on it,
and the best gift was a big bottle of designer perfume that
I had really wanted Dolce & Gabana "Light Blue" that smells
heavenly! And he is going to by me a new pair of slippers that
I really need! And I got some money from my Mom! So it was a nice
Christmas for me too!

Santa was good this year, I don't need new things to make me happy and I got everything I ever wanted- I got to see a smile on my daughters face when she opened her presents, spend time with my family, play with my animals and fall asleep at night with my husband - call me crazy, but those are my favorite things and I wouldn't pass them up for anything else.

God has truly been good to me this year, in spite of all that has been going on. I believe that somethings will be a little late this year, but I am happy for what I have. I got two outfits from my sister in Atlanta. I am not much of a clothing freak, like her. So she buys me clothes every Christmas, I think she is trying to tell me something, LOL.

Hi Winterose, I am really pleased to hear that Santa spoilt you this year. I only ever get bought pressies from my two daughters but I got a massive suprise from my younger one cos as she is now working instead of a small pressie she bought me the Wii-fit to go with the Wii machine I already have which is amazing and the whole family was keeping fit yesterday, we were doing aerobic, muscle and balance exercises. My other daughter spoult me with clothes and bath goodies that she knoews I love and a leather handbag and other little bits. A total shock gift was from an ex who knows how much I love walking in beautiful surroundings and bought myself and my son a years membership to a local botanical gardens and it is one that allows dogs too so I can take the puppy, so Santa was good to me too. Huggles. Ellie :D

I am really glad that santa was good to you winterose it is lovely to hear that you had so many lovely gifts. I did really well too, I had all my favourite perfumes and body products that I cannot usually buy myself because of the expense and I had some money too. I am going to hit the sales tomorrow to see if I can bag some bargains with it!

For me, it was important that our children - hubby's daughter and my son - received gifts. And this year we were able to do more for them. I got a new computer printer, but I haven't been able to use it since my computer has been down for days. I use my hubby's computer when he is at work. Hubby got a shredder from me. That's a hint to get rid of boxes and boxes of old financial records no longer necessary to keep, but ones that he would not merely throw away for fear that his identity would be stolen.

I did ok I guess. The only gifts I received were from my guy. Two of the three were ones I'd really wanted so not bad. The third was a new watch. LOL Doesn't he remember that in our 8 years together he has already bought me 3 watches previously? I'd like to return it, but he said he had fun picking out just the "right" one for me. Too bad I don't like it. LOL Oh well, thought that counts and all. We had agreed to only give each other two gifts. Mine to him was a new computer game (which unfortunately doesn't work and will have to be returned) and a pair of new slippers he had said he wanted. I haven't gotten the ONE thing I'd really love - a buyer for my current home! If I can get this place sold, I can move to the new house.

Santa is very bad to me this year. I was hoping maybe I'll get a good present. Maybe something useful for me. But what happen was that my dad just bought me a cheap ring and my mum bought me a box of chocolate. I don't need a ring and a box of chocolate couldn't last for long.

I have my health, so all is well. My daughter and I watched a movie. It wasn't good; however, really enjoyed spending tome with my daughter. I have several television shows that I can watch and don't have to watch bad television.
My husband purchased Monk, Perry Mason, and The Andy Griffith Show, so there is plenty to keep me busy. My daughter purchased a new Bundt Pan, as old one was past the state of being able to be used again. Also some M&M items, as I'm a big fan of the green lady.

That is nice that you had a great Christmas. Ours was pretty good also. I got a new wedding ring from my husband that I asked for but he surprised me and he got a matching set so we both would have new ones together. Ours broke about three years ago and we wanted to replace them. Walmart had a very good and affordable deal on a matching set.

You really did make a haul and I'm happy for you. Santa is always good to most everyone I think. Sometimes people and I'm one of them just don't stop to realize how well off we really are even when we don't have more than a few dollars or possibly none. My husband and I did not have money enough to buy for each other this year and I'm OK with that because we were able to buy our grandchildren a gift. We had turkey and all the fixins and we were together that's plenty good enough.

Well good for you. I am glad that you have been blessed with gifts and people who care. As for me, I have been blessed and have recieved my share of happiness as well as blessings for the whole year. I am not counting my blessing for the yearend along but for the whole year in general. I hope that Santa will continue to give more blessing in the future and hope that it will do the same for you. Best regards!
