We know of divore cases between husband and wife but never heard of divore cases between parent and children (Maybe rare where by people disown their children, not sure if there are legal implication). People will not forgive their spouses for cheating on them but they will always forgive their children fro whatever they have doen wrong.
Does this shows that people normally love children more than their spouses?
Or is it because loving spouses more with the higher expectation spark off greater consequences when conflicts happened?

I think both love are really different, and they can't be compared and shouldn't be compared. Of course, the expectation to both lover and kids are different. Your lover is someone you chose to love, but your kids are the people you'll just love, as you gave birth to them, and they have been with you for 10 months when you are pregnant. But I still won't compare whom do I love more, I suppose I love them all the same.

I think the love between two people is a different sort of love than between parents and children, I don't think it can be compared..children are a part of the parents made by those people so there is an amount of love that comes naturally but the love between two people is a lot more delicate with amny other factors of the heart that can take turns...I think they are very very different...
