are you ever driving in your car and then before you know it, your at your destination? i do this and it really bugs me. because i have no idea how i got there.i will honestly be driving somewhere that i knew about when i started. but then somehow lost track of time and wasn't really paying attention. and poof i am there. how does the mind and body work together to get you there in one piece.

I always forget what my parents told me to do and I don't know why. I even forget if I have done already this things so I always check on it twice like if I already turned off the light.

There have been times when I would be driving, and realize that I don't remember a portion of my trip. Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean anything. I could just be zoning off during that timeframe.
Although, there was one time when I was driving on the Ohio turnpike, and I didn't even remember about 2-3 hrs of my trip. I was tired during that time, and had to fight to stay on the road at times. It was crazy. I shouldn't have even been on the road during that time. However, I was young and stupid.

Either for reasons of age or because of too much of involvement with items of my interest I tend to forgat these days. Perhaps the forgetfulness is due to a hungry following of subjects my interest as if time is running out! It sounds true to me that all along in my younger days I have been forced to accommodate other peoples' demands on miy time. Further whether official or personal time spent on doing the required chores or what needs to be done on the home front to keep the boat floating took away most of my time. So, now I am able to make some time for my personally absorbing pursuits. Hence the forgetulness of whatrever is not important. So much so that there is a possibility that I forgat even to take my Air tickets. I have found a solution. I carry a bag to office and dump everything in it.
