Music is such an amazing force. Lyrics are written from a deep place in the writer's heart and because of that they often touch us as listeners just as deeply. What are some of your favorite lyrics and what do they mean to you? "Your eyes have got to do some raining if you're ever gonna grow." Bright Eyes Bowl of Oranges The best way to grow and gain as a person is through overcoming pain and trouble. When I am sad or frustrated with some part of my life, this line reminds me that it will get better if I just get myself through this bad stretch. "Through our bleeding, we are one." AFI Strength through Wounding This is more or less the entire song.... repeated over and over for a minute and a half. If you are a fan of AFI you know, even if you haven't been to a show, that this is the chant used to open the show. Where fans of other bands chant the band's name to call them to the stage, AFI fans chant "Through our bleeding, we are one," to say that we have all experienced pain in our lives and because of it we are all the same. And I translated the title to Gaelic and had it tattooed on my hip....

Lyrics are what make music, good or bad, I think the lyrics are what makes the song. If you can listen to something and relate to what the artist is trying to convey, then I think that makes you like the song even better. If you get a chance I would love for you to check out the lyrics to a couple of my songs that I have on my myspace page. I don't want to get into trouble for posting the link here though, so email me a friend request if you have the time and I will send it to you. It would be cool to see what someone else thinks of my lyrics. Thanks.

I think lyrics always come after the music. And mostly music is conveying a different emotion from the lyrics. At this point the song is totaly corrupt i think.A good song is a of song which includes all the elements of music combined in itself. For this reason i prefer classical music, so i wont be able to tell you the lyrics i like sorry =))
