No I don't think they are forthcoming. They work for a corporation who are determined to make money. If they can get people to watch by telling a certain side of a story they will. They can be very biased and judgmental. If they think it will give them the edge over the competition that's all they care about.

NOOOOOOO everyone listen to me. I was watchin CNN and it was talking about a restaurant in Philadelpia, and it showed a clip of it. Guess who was in that clip? My dad, and no he wasn't in philadelhia because I was there with him.

If newscasters were forthcoming I wouldn't have to wait through 25 minutes of crappy news just to find out that the teaser about expired elevator inspections was just to tell us that they were all safe.

Nothings real man!! Newscasters have script writers (who call themselves journalists)are told what to write from their producers who get their orders from the owners who write checks to poltical organizations. Don't believe what they tell you on the news. But I'll always tell you the truth...you can believe what I tell you.
