Well it happened again!
I am quietly minding my own business and replying to discussions (like a good mylotter should) and suddenly, AND without warning.. I hear someone screaming that I just won a Nintendo Wii! I nearly jumped out of my skin! GEE!!, I HATE talking ads!
Whoever thought it was a good thing to place here... I have one word for you! "BOO!"
I hope that scared you!
Have you had this happen to you yet???
Do you find them as annoying? what is the most annoying thing you have seen on a site.. when it comes to advertising?
I nearly slung my keyboard out the window! lol!

you silly Stormy.........why ya got your speakers on if you're not listening to something.
i only turn on my speakers if i want to listen to something in particular.......i also have add ons "No Script" and "Flash Block" which don't let those annoying pop-ups pop-up.

I had my headphones on cause I just came from recording.. and just too lazy to take em off! hahaha!
Cool! a date! it's nice to see that I don't have to send too much personal information to claim my prize!

I hate them from the bottom of my heart and I usually have my speakers turned off for that reason but somethimes when I forget to turn them on and then sudenly there is someone talking that scares the hell out of me.

Oh yeah that has happened to me lots of times. I tend to do alot of my my lotting in the middle of the night. and let me tell ya when the house is totally silent it can scare the heck out of ya. Like others have mentioned I learned to turn my speakers of when I am on my lot!

Ya i also feel same when suddenly sound pops up in my ear. when i am some other sites and comes suddenly booming voice/sound. It's not good way to promote.So i always keeps my speaker off. i use speaker rearly.
