Today my family had turkey, ham, dressing and all the fixings. My roommate talked to her mom and found out her family had ribeye steaks for Christmas dinner. My mom said Christmas is not christmas without the turkey and dressing. what do you think? can you have Christmas without Turkey and dressing?

First of all, Merry X'mas to all myLotters,
then respond to you,
I am a Chinese, you know, Christmas is not our troditional festival, then we just get out, and have a dinner with some friends, and whatever the food is, it's OK, so just have fun.
Good mood is more important for me...

Hi There!
Wow! Turkey! Yummy… well, we had roasted chicken, 2 sets of pasta (carbonara white sauce and Spaghetti with meatballs), and three sets of desserts (Graham cake made by my lil’ cousin, Leche Flan and macaroni salad), our traditional ham with mayonnaise… and drinks! We didn’t really prepare this Christmas but am happy since we are really complete… we stayed at home after attending to church. Lolz… Happy Mylotting and Merry Christmas! Cheers!

sure we can lol! in fact this year we had Ham with Tamales and Enchiladas LOL!
hows that for a non-traditional mishmash of main dishes for christmas dinner?
usually we switch up the ham and turkey (not counting the various other main dishes that get added to the mix) between thanksgiving and xmas. this year we had the turkey on thanksgiving so the ham was delegated to xmas duty! probably the opposite next year.
not sure why we do that actually. but we've done it for as long as i can remember!
