I think I would probably tell him the truth, and then break the news to him that I know who he really is! That should send a message to him!

i can't get the clear picture of your problem. but for me i would always like to be true. then there is no problem whatever may happen. we need not have to feel bad or worry what will happen. if u want to reject somebody for some reason then say it. the problem ends there.

Woah... Obviously, he is seeking closure on the whole rejection thing. Unfortunately, he seems to be desperate about getting it -- pretending to be someone else to get you to talk about it? That's a little sad, I think. :( I think you should tell him, yeah. I mean, he should have something to go with if he wants to move on with his life. Now, however he decides to deal with the real reasons for your decision - that's his prerogative. :)
