i know music can be uplifting and inspirational, but i don't know about surgeons while operating. i just hope they listen to the right music, not something that's so soothing making them feel sleepy, hehe.

no difference! I've observed many many surgeons do this. Infact, music makes the surgeon in a better mood which helps them better.
