Hello my dear fellow mylotters, It was Christmas Day yesterday (December 25th,2008). Our young lady boss organized a trip to our local Bamboo Garden for relaxation, mainly for our foreign English, German and Japanese teachers. Being their contact, I had the chance to accompany them. It was a nice trip there in the Bamboo Garden and all of us took a lot of photos, me included. We started to leave for the Garden at 1:00 p.m and stayed there for more than two hours before we drove all the way to our school's hotel, called International Holiday Hotel, to have a wonderful dinner to celebrate the Christmas together with our foreign teachers. It was a wonderful dinner and we all enjoyed it very much. Back to school, we went to have a look at our college students' performance for the Christmas and New Year--2009. Those students did an excellent job. We watched their performance from seven in the evening till the end of the party at nine. What a wonderful day we had! The attached photo is one of the photos that I took in the Bamboo Garden. I love it for its beautiful view. I am wondering how you spent your Christmas Day. Thank you in advance for your nice response, my dear fellow mylotters. Love from williamjisir

Hello tonytt. I work in Anji County, a nice and modern and small town, one-hour trip to Hangzhou by Express Bus, which is called Kuaike. You are welcome to come and visit Hangzhou and our small town with lots of scenic spots. I am sorry that I did not read this response earlier. I guess that you are already in Hangzhou?

Anyway, I wish you a nice trip to Hangzhou and Shanghai. These days it is very cold and it is very windy today in Anji. I wear my hat to cover my ears when I go out of the house. Take care and stay warm, friend.

Wow! You had a great day, lucky you! What a blissful place that is! Thanks for sharing William. Is this the same place where you got to meet the Pandas? My Christmas was just another Holiday and did try to complete my TO DO list and almost managed it. In the evening I went to my friend's house and had some girly sessions, ate cakes, coffee, rolls and came back home.

Hi williamjisir, you had an great day on Christmas day. It's a nice trip to visit the Bamboo Garden and having good time with your friends and colleagues. From the photo, I bet the scenery there is amazingly beautiful. I didn't have much celebration during my Christmas day. In fact, I was planning to do Mylot during this year end holiday. But unfortunately, the internet connection was down, and I ended up playing PS2 game whole day instead.

It was really frustrating to have the connection problem, especially when I could spare some time to work on Mylot. Now I suspect it might be due to wireless connection from the router. Now I switch to the LAN cable and seems like it's working much more smoothly. Do you have more photos of your Bamboo Garden to be shared? I guess you must have taken a lot of photos, because it's irresistible to do so, when you are visiting place with beautiful scenery.

Hello cheongyc. It is so bad to have the problem with the Internet connection, when you have some time to surf on line. The scenic spot is really very beautiful with tourists coming from different places for a visit, especially people from some surrounding cities, like Hangzhou, Shanghai, Suzhou and so on. They usually come for a visit on weekends and some other holidays. Have a good time, friend.

Hi jisir, it’s always a great pleasure to spend the happy hours with so many foreign colleagues in such a beautiful garden with its tranquil environment and attractive landscapes as well. I really appreciate your young lady boss to have such a great wonderful idea to organize this unique trip to spend the Christmas Holiday in this way. Besides celebrated the grand festive day this also could introduce the beautiful natural landscapes in your hometown to all of them. No wonder everyone indulged in taking photos during the two hours or so. I believe you enjoyed very much with your new digital camera the whole day. From the attached photo I could see the new device performed its purpose very well. It definitely would be an unforgettable remembrance for you all, especially those teachers from the foreign countries. Wow! What a versatile and joyous Christmas day, followed by a grand seasonal dinner, a gorgeous and colorful stage performance during night time as well. My husband's second sister and brother inlaw who live in the nearby adjacent country visited us a day before the Christmas. We took them to visit several tourist hot sites and entertained them at the famous seafood restaurant and enjoyed our delicious dinner there. posting and have a nice day.

Hi jisir, from your words I learn that you love your job very much. I really appreciate your perseverance to be able to devote yourself to your professional job as well as to the lovely students It’s really a great job to educate and to bring up the new generations with higher education. Congrats my dear friend for having an adorable baby. Well I do hope your wife would take more pictures of your lovely baby using the new camera with higher mega pixels. I’m looking forward to seeing the pictures of your lovely baby. I believe your canon camera with 4 mega pixels can also produce good quality photos with wonderful effect. Happy working and take care.

Hello lkbooi. I am glad that you had also a wonderful Christmas Day together with your husband's second sister and brother-in-law. It is so exciting to have a get-together with family members and friends and relatives. I am so glad that this new digital camera of mine works so well offering me lots of fun. This is the first real time that I have used it to take photos. There is still so much for me to learn about its functions. I am sure that I will get familiar with it if I use it more often. I thank you so much for your nice response and wish you to have a good time as always, my dear friend.

Hello lkbook. It is true that our happy winter vacation is now gone with the wind though I still miss it so much. Yet I have to come back to school to work again. I am also happy with my teaching job as I can see my lovely students every day. I did take some photos with both of the digital cameras that I have. Now I have left the new camera with my wife to take more photos of my baby, who is so cute. She needs the better one, 7.2 mega pixels, the Samsung one. Now I am using the Canon one again, which is only 4.0 mega pixels. Enjoy yourself any time of the year, my dear friend.

I have only seen the good bamboos of China in the movie " The Crouching Tiger." I find it very beatiful. I wonder how the people of China come together to take care of the useful bamboos. Bamboos signifies stability. No matter how strong the winds are bamboos are still in its might. I spent my Christmas home with the rest of the family. We had our traditional Noche Buena on the eve of Christmas. Presents are given to each member of the family. I had a good time on Christmas day.

You are welcome to pay a visit to Anji, where there are a lot more scenic spots, but the best season to visit is late spring and early summer around May, when everything is so green and enjoyable with warm weather.

How beautiful. Thanks for sharing the picture of the bamboo garden. Gave your photo a plus rating. We spent part of the day just relaxing. Later in the afternoon we went to a friend's house and had just a wonderful meal. Was able to see and hold my new grandbaby since our daughter and her family were also invited. It was a great meal, fun time and I enjoyed every minute. We were home early.

That's so nice to hear that you had such a wonderful trip. No wonder it seems you are not here in these few days. Is it cold there? I had a peaceful Christmas. We went out after dinner at night to feel the Christmas atmosphere in the department store. After that, we went home and then I turned on my computer to post in Mylot:) I love China

Good afternoon, youless. Yeah, I have been busy with my work lately and have not been as active here. It is cold here, but as cold as before as the cold air from the northwest is gone. The temperature today is 4 to 9 degrees centigrade, cloudy to rainy. It is another way of your spending the Christmas Day to feel the wonderful atmosphere in the Department Store. I also love that kind of atmosphere with many people. Have a good day, my dear youless.

Yeah...Hello to you too, William. I am very glad you share you happy moment with us on here, personally - you and your discussion really like "Apple Of My Eye" and made me "At The Drop Of A Hat" to make my respond once noticed in my email inbox. Your never make less, William. Your uploaded photo, a real; presenting the sumptuous moment of scenic, tranquility and serenity place that you'd enjoyed your blue moon. The proud Anji people shown by your photo, although there was no human kind appear on your uploaded photo but I can imagine it that way at that place. As "A Picture Paints a Thousand Words". Me?. Oh...not much to tell. While always against the clock, found something to play by ear. Rest on the real pink sand beach; unfortunately I don't have photos to be uploaded, only a small piece of sweet memory for sharing with you. It is all on this link; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPzIvWvxkTc HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009.

wow!!! that was a good experienced. For me at Christmas, we did not do much. We stayed home. We suppose to go to a friend's house to have dinner with them but we don't feel good because of the cold so, we decided to stay home. I don't have any exciting experience to share except that I have a good rest on Christmas day.

Hello Bebs. It is good to hear that you had a good rest on Christmas Day with your loved ones. Cold weather keeps us stay home without having the desire to go out to play, as is the same case to me. I wish you a happy 2009, my dear friend.
