The Fairness Doctrine

I have to agree with Annie, it's not going to happen. If it had a snowflake's chance in he11, Bill O wouldn't be planning to shut down his radio show that that he can concentrate more of his time to the television side. He's be on his white horse raving about it. I like talk radio...listen to both sides for balance...so I would definitely miss it.

As someone who likes talk radio I do not like this idea. They need to leave it alone. There are talk shows for liberals, republicans, ditto heads, all kinds of people. LEt them listen to what they want. If you do not like what a show is talking about then simply turn the station.

My personal theory is that people like Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly love bringing this topic up because it gives them a chance to make themselves feel all-important. As if to say, "Look, the evil Democrats want to silence us!". It's not going to happen. Annie

Well the Fairness Doctrine isn't really as fair as it claims to be. True it may also hurt the very few democrats on the radio. (I mean very few). It is just another way for the liberals to take over the only part of the media that the republicans have. If that is so people will go to online talk radio, like I have. With my radio station. If you want info on it message me. My personal thoughts it may get passed but people will revolt,riot and more stirring up lives of the congressional people.
