Do you believe that you should follow your interest in selecting college?

I have many interests,so,interest is not the only causation when I selecting college.But interest plays an important role in the process.

I agree that it is extremely difficult to choose a major. I changed my major four times, actually. It's interesting because I considered my current choice back when I changed my major the first time, but I would have had to switch to a different school that wasn't as well known, and it is a difficult career field with not a lot of opportunities in my area. I passed it over, choosing something else. I eventually came back to it, and I am happier. I tried considering career opportunity and things like that, but what really mattered in the end was that I enjoy what I am doing and feel comfortable making a living at it.

hi there, zhuhuifen46.. If things were only up to me, I would've followed what I really wanted to pursue back in college: 'communication arts' major in theatre. But I chose to follow my parents' suggestion and took up 'economics' for a more practical and more versatile career opportunity after graduation. I used to have "IF only" moments, like "If I pursued Communication Arts, I would be famous by now.." But the Bible tells us to honor our parents because doing so has its rewards. Today, I am actually thankful that I've heeded their instruction.

I will select my favour.It connects to my career,my future,even hole life,would you image that all you life are doing the things you don't like?It may be the most tragic lot of me .So ,keep your interesting and do it well,than ,just persevere your own choice!!!GOD BLESS YOU ,MY FRIEND

If the condition is admit, you'd better follow your interesting and choosing your favourite major to learn in your college, but now, we all know, more and more students can't find a job after they graduated form the university, why? Because the major they learnt is so hot, there is not enough positions for them to find a right job, so when you choose your major, one is thinking about what do you like the other is thinking it carefully, if you can find a job after graduated from you college.
