sensitive heart

I think men and women are equally sensitive - it just depends on the person. I agree that women are more OUTWARDLY sensitive than men - we like to share our emotions (or can't seem to keep them in). Whereas a lot of men that are sensitive seem to keep their feelings inside. My husband is very sensitive, but unless you really know him, you would never guess. I still have trouble prying his feelings out of him sometimes... I know when something is bothering him, but he doesn't seem to want to let it out!

I think you can't talk about this in general. It depends on the person, I know very sensitive boys and girls that aren't. But it's true that girls are almost encouraged to show their emotions, and boys have to be tough and not show them, that's socially and culturally defined. I do think however, that women are socially more sensitive (I mean sensitive here in that sense that they understand certain social mechanisms, eg group dynamics better), but that's also part of some sort of education, you know the typical things people say while they mean something else, boys usually do not notice them, they're more straightforward, while women will look for some hidden sense (that usually is there, mind you, only when women are talking, men tend to mean what they say literally, no hidden things). But still, as I said, I know boys that are really sensitive, they always notice when something's wrong, and girls who don't, that really depends on person rather than gender, and on how you get along with that person. Well, I hope you understand what I mean, I'm afraid I didn't expres myself properly...

Yes. To some extent, boys are as sensitive as girls. Girls often show their emotion. Girls often have more tears than boys. Perhaps boys seldoms cry or show their emotion so as to tell others around them that they're adamancy and brave. They're manly.
