Hi friends out there, can you please give me some tips for HAIR-CONDITIONING. I usually don't prefer to go to parlors , i want the solutions for conditioning in handy. I also have long hair, it is really difficult for me to maintain. I have to fight against split ends now. So do suggest me the solution for this problem. Do dove conditioner really work? I tried it twice , but i felt some improvement. now that i have stopped it. So how many of you use dove products? Let me know? Thank you in advance :)

Once a month, I use Pantene moisure replenishing mask. The other three weeks of the month, I use mayonnaise as a conditioner. I part my hair into strips and work the mayo through my hair. I wrap each strip in aluminum foil. I cover my head with a shower cap and keep it on for 30 minutes. It sounds strange but it is the best conditioner that I've ever used. Brand of mayo doesn't matter. I buy the cheapest that I can find.

I have had long hair my entire life (but recently donated 14" to 'locks of love'). I think the key to conditioners is to always use shampoo, then conditioner.. never use the 2-in-1 stuff, it has NEVER worked for me. During your daily washes, remember to leave your conditioner in for several minutes before rinsing... I usualy shave or wash my face while I'm letting the conditioner set. Towel dry and comb when wet... don't blow dry or try combing after your hair is already dry! Deep conditioners are also a good thing to use once or twice a month. If you deep condition too often, your hair will appear limp and greasy. I really like "Aussie" brand shampoo/conditioner/deep-conditioner. Lately I've been using "Herbal Essences" shampoo/conditioner (for color treated hair as I recently added some blonde). Both of them are very good products... I've tried A LOT of different brands, and these are the ones that have worked best with my long locks! Best of luck... long hair is a lot of work, but when it's shiny and healthy it's definitely worth it!

I have very dry hair. I find this useful. While my hair is still wet, I put about a nickels sized amount of regular conditioner(of your choice) into the palm of my hand. And then I work the conditioner into my hair and leave it there. Less expensive, and I do that about 2x a week.

Hello there, I use conditioners on a daily basis at times I don't even shampoo my hair but I just conditioned my hair for a silky soft hair. I have used dove and it is quite good for the hair and friendly to the scalp. You can also use hair treatment wax on a weekly basis for it gives your hair nutrients and makes it healthy. This also stops your hair from having split ends and gives a shiny and silky glow. Hope this helps.

hello friend, you can try using the l'oreals elseve and it really gives a great healthy hair ot you can also try using pantene's 3 minute treatment solution. these are just a few treatments that you can use but you have to remember that other products doesn't work for everyone. you have to look for a product that would work for your kind of hair. hope this helps. Happy Mylotting!!!

I use dove conditioner and I love it. I also use mayonaisse on my her once a week. I put the mayonaisse in and leave it on for about 5 minutes. Then I rinse it out completely. It leaves my hair soft and helps to manage my split ends being as I color my hair. I also catch rainwater to use as a rinse as it doesn't have all the chemicals of tap water.

Hai, I also have long hair. I wash with chikakai twice a week. If I see split ends I will cut the hair may be 2 inches or 3 inches. My another problem is my hair has become grey very early. I have good looking hair but it is grey. Can any one suggest me to make it black. I have tried so many things. I do not want to use dye for my hair. I want it to be natural black. Is there any way out? If it is herbal oriented I prefer it and I do not like chemical treatments.

Hi, I also prefer shikai over shampoo. From child hood, my hair has an aversion towrds shampoo, yet to find the reason thereof. For your grey hair, You need to oil your hair thoroughly. use coconut oil, or castor oil for better results. Leave it to work for atleast 15 minutes. After that you try rinsing with your shikai. Also, if you apply shikai without using oil, there are chances for your hair to become dry.So don't use shikai in dry hair. Oil massage atleast twice a week. rinse it well. oil your hair after head bath, to get better results. try this.. Hope it works.

i actually use 2 types of conditioner. but to start things off, the texture of my hair is fine & i've reasonably good hair. i only have split ends because i bleached it. but anyhow, i did do a treatment recently hence it's much better. i do use dove as my shampoo (for oily scalp) because apparently, oily scalp can lead to hair loss but that's another thing altogether. i too use the dove daily conditioner. but honestly, i prefer sunsilk. It was originally called organics but they changed the name. the sunsilk one i'm using is in a tub form and it's a deeper conditioner. I know it's inadvisable but i mix the daily conditioner and the supposed deep conditioner together and leave it in my hair as i go about my other bathroom business. Example clearing my intestines or shaving my legs and so on. At the end, my hair feels softer and i seldom get bad hair days. They are tamer and easier to manage. There are certain brands out there that are good for some but not so good for others. Take your time and sample. Use the one that you find has the best result on your hair.

You could try using the deep conditioner treatments that you leave in your hair for about five minutes. They are supposed to be great.
