Slim and trim is something that has never blessed my life and now that I'm getting older I know I need to be more aware of a diet plan. I am watching more now what I eat rather than watching my weight by putting it out front where I can really watch it!!! lol

hello, grandma. it is true that once we are of age, we will be forced to observe a good diet plan. we cannot afford to get too fat, that would mean so much health complications. i get your joke, grandma. it is good to hear from you.

I do observe strict dietary regime. I think the consciousness and awareness in most important and healthy eating, as you ave said is the KEY thing. There was a time, when I was over enthusiastic to keep myself slim and trim but then, I was getting weak and then I started eating all food healthy and at the same time started to exercise. Now, I have a good BMI and that what matters the most.So my fitness mantra is EAT HEALTHY EXERCISE DAILY!
Good luck!

yes, mimpi i agree that we need to eat healthy and exercise daily. if it is manageable to have a good amount of sleep each night, it is easier to keep and stick to the diet plan even more.

Well, I have done a lot of things in the past due to being Diabetic, and more for my own Health than having any doctor tell me how I should eat and such. I know I do slip from time to time and over eat, or eat things I am not supposed to really have, but it is up to me to get it back in control as well. But I was able to loose around 30 pds. last yr. and really want to make a Goal somehow to loose about another 20 more as well if I can.

that's mighty good for you krausehome. your diabetes may not be that bad. i have heard that most diabetics have a hard time maintaining their weights. among the signs that one is getting diabetes, is the drastic going down of the weight.
good luck in your targets as regards weight reduction. i hope that you will make it again this year.

I recently had a baby. He is 2 weeks old. I have to keep up with a certain amount of calories for feeding purposes. However I recently found out I did lose 21 pounds. As soon as I get the go ahead from the doctor, I will start exercising. That may be another month.

I'm not slim but I'm quite a healthy person. I try to eat a balanced diet and incorporate lots of fiber because the common food that comes around everyday does not seem to have enough and vegetables alone can't fill me up. Also, I stay away from fatty foods and salty foods because I don't want to have future health problems.
Thanks for the comment on my discussion!

the eight pack abs, it is so good to see in anybody's body. yes, it is a good target for you to have it. good luck, that is very achievable. it is just a matter of self discipline.

I never had the health or overweight problems yet. I do Yoga regularly which helps me not to allow that extra fat, and so even if i eat a little more sometimes, i dont have to bother about the weight or fat. I have a fixed diet, very rarely i go out of routine and eat some more. So i am slim and trim, without any major care for diet..

doing yoga regularly will really make one keep in shape at all times. i remember those days when i did some yoga regularly. i bought a cd which had with it the basics of yoga. i never grew any fatter then. doing yoga will truly burn all those unnecessary fats away. so, eshaan, if you keep doing yoga you will never have to go through the intricacies of dieting and exercising to lose the excessive weight accumulated for being not too caring to count the calories.

Hi Trinidadvelasco, I have to be honest, I eat anything edible and tasty, hehe, no strict diet constraints.. well, it gave me sort of a voluptuous body.
Of course on healthy account, we must also consider the food we take. Not for us to stay slim and trim but to stay healthy..
