Do you or any of your friends get violent after drinking alcohol?

I have often wondered what drives a person to be violent when they get alcohol in their blood. Personally I have always kept my cool when I drink with my friends, even if an ahole is provoking us. I guess the best way to avoid confrontation with those jerks, is to keep away from them. Of course if they get physical, I'm not one to turn my back and avoid a fight...Thankfully it has never happened to me yet, and I sure hope it never will. So do any of you or your friends get violent once they are drunk, have you often been in trouble after drinking? Happy mylotting.

Fortunately none so far. Most of them can handle their drinks rather well, except for a few, one who starts confiding secrets and thoughts (something she never does when she's sober), or another friend starts singing, joking and laughing! It's quite fun!

That's good, at least you won't get into trouble with your friends when you're drinking with them.

well i am a happy drunk for the most part, i do flirt more with the ladies. that get my wife upset some.
but if i am drinking and someone gives me a reason i will fight anyone no matter what. i swung on a friend once because he was drunk at my dad's party and was being rude.. so i swung on him but another friend grabbed me.
i do got some friends who do get this way when they drink.

When I get drunk (not that that happens so often), not totally wasted, but just had a few drinks too much, I get very happy, running and fooling around, laughing with every single thing happening. Or, if I was just thinking about some sad things, I get very sad, thinking further about sad things that have happened, making a bigger deal of it than it was. I prefer the happy drunkards of course, and I also prefer being happy drunk myself, you don't cause problems, you have a good time (well, it can lead to embarrasing pictures...lol). The sad kind of drunk is not cool, but not bad either, you're not really causing problems (except from the fact that my friends have to comfort me and hand me handkerchiefs when crying lol), it's also a bit embarrassing, as it's always when you're drunk.
We do have met some really agressive drunk people on going out, usually try to ignore and avoid them, luckily none of my friends gets violent when drunk.
