i somehow agree on that. when you build a right relationship, you can say that you built it with the right person... sometimes, the qualities we set for our "ideal" guy/girl are not achieved. sad, yes somehow but hey, we are still happy for getting the right person who is really meant for us, right? -tinkerbell-

If this were true 100%, then we should be able to have a relationship with anyone as long as both people work hard to make it work. Personally, I think working hard on a relationship is 90% of what makes a relationship work, attraction, a good match in character and temperment are important too in my opinion. How else can we explain relationship not working out when both people try to work on it very hard, but there is just no spark between them? However, I agree that a relationship is not just about love but also taking and giving and making it work. Hope you had a great christmas!

If love was about finding 'the right person' then the thought of arranged marriages would just not work and I have friends who have been in arranged marriages and they seem at times (if not most of the time) to be happier than the people who go out there 'looking for love'. i think love is finding the right person. i am once married before and i did tried so hard to create a good relationship and all i got was stress and depression. if you find the right person then you dont have to be stressed out and to worry for the relationship will run smoothly if yoou have the right person to love.

Hello there as2006, how are you doing. I hope your Christmas was a wonderful one. Your description of Love is to the T. Some persons does not have the character of building love to the end. There are times you will read about persons who got married and at the beginning they didn't have that sizzling love but after years of working together and building their little empire the love that was not there beginning to grow and turn into a sizzle. Love to me is forgiving and building a friendship inside of a relationship. When this friendship is develop then you will not hurt nor disrespect that person because what you don't like for yourself you will not past on. Have a Wonderful 2009 Kerry
