Have you noticed that many religious posters are worried about death and dying? This is quite obvious if you have happened to take note of it. Most religious posters are hanging on to life, like a drowning man clutching a rope, as if there was nothing after except the Traditional Fire and Brimstone!) This is a deliberate Ploy of Organized Religion which Keeps these Parishioners Scared and Obedient. The Threat of Hell Must hang heavy over the church-goer's head to keep the Collection Plate overflowing. The church has this all worked out, and this is the reason why a Christian is Scart Silly of Death.

Hi barehugs, sadly, I'm afraid that there is a lot of truth to what you say here. I know many religious people who if someone says, I don't believe the Bible, or I don't go to church, immediately say,"Aren't you afraid of going to hell"? If they were true followers of Christ who really believed and tried to follow his teachings, they would say, "Come let me show you someone who can make you change your mind, someone who will show you what it means to be really happy". Any religion who teaches fire and brimstone have long ago forgotten about the true teachings of all the true masters. They came to teach us to love one another and their teachings have been completely derailed. I am hoping that those false teachers will not have the same hold on the new generation growing up today. They need to know the real and true teachings of such people as Jesus Christ, and they are not getting that in most of the Christian churches of today. Blessings.

Big Religion is just as corrupt as Big Government, and Big Business, and its no surprise. The recent Child Abuse Scandals were nothing new. Organized religion has been Abusing women and children since Christianity was first implemented. This was very obvious when the Pope declined comment, preferring instead to downplay the situation.

I might be considered Christian, I'm actually Catholic, and I am not worried about dying at all. However, a true Christan and Catholic understands this life on earth is in no way permanant. There is a heaven. If you enter it, you will be forever with God and your loved ones.
