Fine Rs 200 on smoking?

In India our High court has include a new rule that who ever smokes in hotels,parks,bus stops,shopping malls or in public places the police will fine Rs 200 on him or one day imprisonment,so please smokers beware of that stop smoking it injures your health.
Do your country has rules like this?

Well but no one seems to follow this. Still they smoke at public and spoil others health.

I am and Indian too but was unknown to any such rules implemented by the Indian government.I think it is a very good rule and will help many person avoid smoking as much as he can in public places as well as anywhere else.
