During christmas time it is a tradition in our country to have at least 13 kinds of fruits either round or oblong in shape. So we always have on our table apples,grapes,mangoes,dalandan,chico,pineapple,mangosteen,papaya,orange,watermelon, etc. I forgot the names of other fruits.

When I was a little girl we always had peanuts in the shells and lots of other nuts and almonds all in the shell I think I grew up thinking that these were just a Christmas thing never to be seen at any other time of the year, and even today i just have to have them on my table at Christmas..
