What would you do if you knew something?

I wonder if things would be different if our government saw things this way. I doubt they could define "moral obligation" much less act on it with a roll of crisp bills under their nose. I guess it depends on what you view as really bad things. World devistation? No one has stopped the obvious players so far . . . but in a one on one situation, i guess try to change the person's mind, warn whoever is in harm's way, and get the hell outta dodge. The person standing for greater good is always villianized as usually the people who do bad things are pressured or paid off by someone else. All depends what team you play for i guess.

I think that as human beings, we have a moral obligation to do our best to stop bad things from happening to our fellow man. If someone had knowledge of something as you have mentioned, that person should do whatever they can to stop the devastation before it starts. Sometimes, our moral obligation outweighs how others may looka t us. The question is, can a person live with themselves knowing that they could have stopped something terrible from happening, but didn't? I know I couldn't live with myself. A villian? Hardly. More like a hero.

The stopper would NOT be a villain. If this involves hurting others, someone should be notified IMMEDIATELY. This is a terrible situation... I REALLY hope that you are not in this situation and that you are just making it up!
