No, I would never do that because I love the Philippines. I love it for its beautiful location and for its richness in natural resources. Philippines is still the most beautiful country to me. Although there are problems in the Philippines, I still cannot exchange it with another country. People in the Philippines are warm hearted and are considerate to their neighbors. I love the Philippines because of the people living in it and all that it offers to me.

I love the Philippines for it is where I was born. I have always wished to go to America not to exchange my motherland with any thing else but instead help the people there especially to my family. God must have heard my fervent prayers that he granted my wish to be able to go here. Whatever reasons other people have, for sure it is for the good of our home country, it is not because we want to exchange our birth country to other places. I have missed the Philippines but I have my family of where I am now. I even told my husband that perhaps I don't want to become a US citizen and he told me what difference does it make if you are a filipino citizen or not. I can anyway still be a filipino by heart and soul.;-)

Your husband is right. You can be a US citizen but you are still a Filipino. I'm glad you haven't forgotten your race..

Of course I will, opportunities only comes one or twice a lifetime so why ignore it? Every people need to explore different culture and country so I am, I want to learn other people's culture as well as their way of living. It's been always my dream to go to other country and experience things which I never experience here in the Philippines. I'll always be back home, as the saying goes 'there's no place like home' and I agree with that. Going to other country is just a part of exploring new things and learning.

No, I will never exchange Philippines to another country. I once had an opportunity before to work and live in one of the riches country in the world but I went home because I see it would be the same story if I stay there I can earn a little bigger amount than what I earn here our country but the end point is I am not happy at all and I even regret to stay there a little longer so I went to my beloved Philippines while here I am happy and I have everything here my family, my friends and the places I love to stay, I may not be rich now because of my decision but I never regret exchanging the rich country with our Philippines.

The Philippines will always be my home but if I were to relocate - I assume that's what you mean - I couldn't think of any better reason than for health care. Our health care situation is something I am not proud of because if you don't have money or insurance -- you've almost no chance of getting the best care that's available out there!!! Is it obvious much that that's a big issue for me? Well, sorry about ranting... Have a good day! :)

For 4 years, from 1990-94, I seriously thought of emigrating with my family. Then I decided to stay put, and do something for the country and about our problems from within. I have just attended a gathering of people involved in organic agriculture in Davao City, and they told me the same experience, that they too had their moments of doubt, reflection and decision, and they likewise decided to stay. With citizens like you and my friends, there's hope. It's not sufficient, but it's good enough for a start.

Same here too. I know there are a lot of beautiful places or country out there that i love to visit but as a saying goes, "There's no place like Home". well that is indeed true, i will never change my home country as i am proud to be born in Philippines. The culture and the upbringing is really admirable. I don't know what my future is or where would the destiny lead me , perhaps when i get married i will be leaving on the other country but that doesn't mean i change my country, of course not. I will still be coming home and it would still be my home no matter what.

never. i would never do so. this is despite the fact that i am having a hard time being Filipino. strangely, the hardest part for me is not dealing with poverty and politics. it's adjusting to the culture. i am a very serious kind of person and i was raised by parents who are a little different. now that i am married to a pinoy who has a very pinoy family, i find it hard to adjust to their love for revelry, company and their general happy nature. even so, i will not exchange exchange my country for another

NO. I cannot exchange philippines for other country. I was born and raised here so I am purely filipino by blood and by heart. But if I go to other country it is because of the opportunity that it will give to me and my family. For we know that it is hard here in our country to cope with the financial needs. Still we will go back to our mother land.

We go in another country not to think we want to be old there and die there, we go there to help our family's on financial problem. It was we talk this issue of my fiance, he ask me where I want to live, I tell him the truth, if we live in Philippines there is no work waiting for us, but when we are retired already I wanted to spend the time and die in where I was born and I was very glad when he told me he go where I wanted to spend the last chapter of our life and this place is in my heart"Philippines" There's nothing great place in the world only your own country and so my country is Philippines that I can't exchange to any other country's...

i always want to travel in other countries but not to live in that country. Even though there's a lot of problem going on here in our country i will never try to exchange my country to other country. If only the government is doing their jobs i think no filipinos will wish to work abroad since filipinos are family oriented people. They will choose to have their families that to have wealth. but because of the standard of living is getting higher they need to sacrifice themselves, missing their families just to make sure their families will have a good living.

No, I would never exchange Philippines to another country. Although, I live here in the States. There is no place like home other othan Philippines. The atmosphere here is very boring. In the Philippines I can go anywhere and the transportion is 24/7.
