Do you think the New York Knicks will ever get Lebron James?

Lebron James has been teasing the Knicks for a very long time by saying that the Yankees are his favorite baseball team, New York is his favorite city, and that moving to New York would be great for his ever-expanding career.
Now from a basketball perspective, the Knicks have a losing record, and the Cleveland Cavaliers have one of the best records in the NBA. Lebron would hate to start all over.
So is Lebron only teasing or is he going to follow through with his words?

That is a pretty ignorant comment to make about athletes. IF you know anything, there are many athletes that care about winning more than the money they make. For example, Dirk Nowtizki is willing to take a pay cut if the Dallas Mavericks will be able to sign other good players. Kevin Garnett took a smaller contract to enable his team to clear cap space. So athletes aren't all about money.

yeah, Lebron has stated that one of his goals is to be the first billionaire NBA player and there is more money involved in the Knicks franchise then there ever will be in the Cavaliers.
Good point

I don't thinks so if Lebron will leave in cleveland. If Lebron transfer I think Ill sacrifice for for any starters in New York team. Lebron for Nate Robinson, Al Harrington, David Lee, Tim Thomas or Wilson chanlder or Chris Duhon or Mobley just like Boston Did to Minnesota. What do you think of the trade? good day!

As a Knicks fan, I sure hope they get Lebron James. He has given hints that he has always wanted to play in the Big Apple and in Madison Square Garden. If he wants to be a legend like Jordan, he should come to the Knicks and win them and the city a championship. He would also have a good supporting cast, in either Chris Bosh or Amare Stoudimire. Maybe, even Dwayne Wade. But, Lebron has said that he might sign an extension as early as this year with the Cavs. I don't know why he is giving mixed signals. Without Lebron, the Knicks will not even be a playoff team for many years to come. Time will tell ...
