my mum handwashes our clothes.
reason being, washing machine actually makes your clothes fade faster and fray faster. for lingeries, washing machine does destroys the texture or has it out of shape.
though the washing machine is more convenient, it also consumes alot of water. =)

That's right. Its more safer to use washing machines on white clothes that doesn't have colors to be fainted.
