V.V.S.LAXMAN, a hyderabadi player requires no introduction. he is a cricketer with class and technique. he is a perfect player amongst a few other indian test cricket players. he is a gentleman in the game. neverthless he won many matches win for india. but he has lost his consistency. but he has scored above 1000 runs this year. is this the right time for him to retire????? shall he retire in this good form?????????

yes laxman has been one of the mainstays of indian batting since quite sometime.he is a big match player and brings out his best against australia.no one can forget his epic 281 at eden gardens which helped india win the match from a certain loss there.he failed against england but still i would love to see him for a few more matches.

Hi prabhusanges
Laxman is a great player and there should be no doubt about that. But,there is a time to stop and you should know the right time.It is far better if you are retiring with your form and people will praise your decision, but with the current form he seems to be just the shadow of his previous self.I know he will take no time to come back into form, but he should retire after getting back in the form,as it will be a graceful exit.
