Filters

Have you made filters in your respective e-mail accounts' inbox so that a particular sender's mail goes to a particular specified folder? I have made about ten folders for the top ten people who send me mails frequently. I have also made a separate flder for the forwards I receive because it causes a nuisance for me in the inbox. So, what about you people, do you guys also do the same??

Nope. My friend told me that I'm supposed to make folders for my inbox. But, I guess I'm too lazy to do that. So, I just let it that way, even I'm getting troubled with dozens of emails in my inbox.

I have done that in the past. But now, I just let all mail go in the inbox or in the junk box. I found it was easier for me to just read the emails as they came in rather than picking out one person's mail and reading it. I belong to several forums and I like to answer those emails in line, and separating the people sort of messes that up. I do use filters to send unneeded emails to the junk box, though.

yeah I alwasy keep filters that way I can easilu manage the emails tht i get so like i go thru them one by one n sort them out! that way it is much more effective happy lotting and have a nice day!
