It has been recently brought to my attention by a fellow Mylotter that there may be some amount of racist activity going on within the WWE. Looking back throughout the history of the company I can't help but to agree a little bit. Although it is true that in recent years minority this wrestlers have began to rise in the ranks, winning various titles and gaining much popularity. What do you think about this topic?

i am a big fan of wwe and i really believe that there is racism in wwe because the great khali is from india and look at his size it doesnt seems that he can be defeated by rey mysterio but he gets defeated ,,,is this not racism?????

Well...Thanks for your response but I don't think I understand exactly what your saying. Is it your intention to claim that the Great Khali is being defeated due to racism? I dont believe that to be the case, in the case of the great Khali he gets beat because he sucks horribly, sorry but there is no other way to say it. Rey Mysterio is full blooded Mexican, having him defeat Khali is not an example of racism...it's just good business.

Well, Tony Atlas once had an African Warrior gimmick known as Saba Simba, so take that how you will. There was also Kamala. Also, I believe I read something about former WWE superstar Rodney Mack talking about racism in the WWE. There was also former WWE star Tiger Ali Singh. I remember reading that he was a "victim" of ribs backstage. I think I read something about someone crapping in his turban or something. I've also read on message boards of people claiming Triple H is a racist. (The feud they had that culminated at Wrestlemania XIX was kind of based around that.) I've also read that Triple H doesn't like MVP on message boards. I guess you can take what you read on message boards with a grain of salt. There's probably still some racism in pro wrestling, but it has to be better than it used to be.

The same could be said for just about any business in this country, maybe even the world. Disney World is the happiest place on earth but if ya dig deep enough I'm sure you could find racism lurking somewhere in the magic kingdom. I am not talking about gimmicks or the individual views of ignorant men, I am talking about the lack of representation for different races in the company. The main event spots.

With the array of ethnic backgrounds of the male wrestlers, I don't really notice racism too much. I notice it much more with the divas, where you rarely see the same diversity of backgrounds. I also see a lot of sexism. When the male wrestlers squeal when they're in the ring, I'll change my opinion on that!

I would have to say that like everywhere else minorities have had a hard time gaining respect of employers. he WWE recently has made a strong effort though to have a strong presence of minorities.Ex: Crime Time, MVP, Ray mysterio, and Shelton Benjamin.

All non white women in wwe roster today are villains while blonde chicks are babyfaces. That is racism
