Not the genre but the storyline and its level of entertainment. Do you like a silly, frivelace type or do you like the deep, leaves you thinking type of movie? Or the exciting epic tye that keeps you on the edge of your seat from the moment it starts? Which is it?

I like a lot of different types of movies depending on my mood but some that I always enjoy would have to be action movies. I can always enjoy watching hot guys fight bad guys and save the day. But movies that I really enjoy and like to watch over and over again are deep movies that have important themes and messages. Those are great because you can enjoy the two hours or so that you spend watching them, but then I also enjoy thinking about them afterwards, about what they mean and how they can change the way I think about my life. I also like a good comedy every now and then to cheer me up.

I really like Action movies! War movies are my least favorite, but I have found exceptions. I tend to choose movies according to the mood I'm in. Sometimes when I'm feeling blue my spirit will be lifted by watching a Comedy. When I'm feeling nostalgic I like to watch movies with a good sound track.

It's easier for me to tell you what I don't like haha.... I don't like romantic comedies because for the most part they all follow the same formula - Boy meets Girl. Boy and Girl have a good time, lots of fun. Boy does or says something stupid and Girl kicks him to the curb. Girl pines stubbornly over Boy, eats ice cream and cries to her funny and eccentric best friend/sister. Boy does something incredibly (and often nauseatingly) sweet in apology. Girl takes Boy back. Boy and Girl live happily ever after. The end. I also don't like slasher/gore horror because all too often the plot is neglected for the sake of blood and violence. And "family comedies." I don't know how else to describe these. The ones that are written for kids but in a way that the parents can enjoy them at the same time. Movies like Marley and Me and Bedtime Stories that are in the theater now...they are just boring to me. And they kind of always have been. I don't know how many times I was subjected to the Beethoven and Benji movies as a kid but even then I thought they were terribly boring.

I like comedy or extreme action movies. I like even true to life touching movies and bit of horror.

I pretty much would watch anything that catches my interest. However, my first choice when it comes to movies would be action/adventure, like Indiana Jones, The Mummy, National Treasure, just to give you an idea of the genre. I find such movies exciting, and keeps me glued to my seat. On other occassions, I would settle for a romantic comedy. Since I'm a sucker for love stories and I like to laugh, such genre fits the bill for me. I just recently saw one, Fool's Gold, and though it wasn't that impressive it was funny enough to entertain me. One genre that I would never watch is horror. I don't like getting scared and I can't stand blood and gore. So no scary movies for me.
