No more Resolutions...Try THIS!

I've stopped making New Year's Resolutions after many years of failures. And I for one, do not want to be a failure. Now I have a list of things I want to accomplish in my life. I add to it each time I think of something, whether it be trivial, or may be to others, but not to me, or very meaningful, as many would understand. I encourage everyone to have a "list". Here are but a few things I have on my list: Dance with my Daddy one more time... Para-Sail (deathly afraid of heights!) Write a Book Learn to play the Fiddle Travel in a R.V. across the U.S. Travel to England, Paris, Greece.... Those are just some of mine. What are yours?

I need to lose weight. This is my first priority for the new year. I need to get back in shape as I used to a few months ago.

I just heard resolutions on GMA and I thought, "if people would make this a goal of life instead of a goal of a few months, they surely would have much more success"... So don't be so hard on yourself! Get out there and take some beautiful walks, change your eating habits, slowly, and I'm sure you will notice a change that will stick with you for a life time! Good luck!

great idea! Let me see... I want to take my family overseas..maybe US or Europe. ( I live in South Africa) Have a ride in a hot air balloon over plains teaming with wild life one early morning. Start my own business. That's enough for now.

Thank you for reminding me of the hot air balloon ride! That is on my list! I would love to start my own business as well, and am on my way with Niche Blogging, but that will take some time! I encourage you to add to your list as things come to your mind! Thanks for the input!

What a great idea. I want to give it a lot of thought, and combine it with something like the list on "My Name Is Earl," making up to people for anything I might have done to offend. I know what I'll use my bedide notbook and pen for tonight. The first thing will be to be more careful about diet and exercixe to improve my health. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Great idea! Definitely correcting past offenses...that's a toughy, for many of us...me included. I really like the fact that it isn't conclusive to a "year" and then we give up. But a lifetime goal! Thanks for your comment!
