frozen windows!! eeeee!

I'm not sure why. But I go and clean out history and all that it works for my lot but other sites it is them not me. They say I have to many open things. I told them yeah your the only one open duh. So Yes I have them day's as well. Your friend onlydia

hmm did u try to scan the cmoputer for anti-spyware? did u try doin a defrag in safe mode?? tht shuld help u happy lotting and have a nice day!

Yes I have had days when email windows do just freeze on me. It is annoying to say the least when you hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete and it takes for ever to get back started again. The cause can be for a few different reasons: Perhaps the website that is serving the email is having network difficulties. Perhaps the server is getting overloaded. If you have more than one window open at a time, doing several things at once, sometimes your processor can just get bogged or not enough RAM. Another possibility is that your computer needs to be deframented. Defragging often helps in this case or Simply restart your computer. Why this sometimes fix the windows freezing problem, I don't know. It just does sometimes. I would definitely do a defrag. Go off line and defrag your computer. Depending on the size of your hard drive, it may take awhile. Go to Start up to Programs and to accessories. I believe it is in system tools. Good Luck.

Well, bunny...maybe your computer needs a bit of cleaning? Run a virus scan, a spyware scan, and give it a thorough cleaning. Clean out all the empty folders, duplicate files, temporary Internet files, cookies, and what nots. Then check if the performance improves. If it doesn't either your ISP sucks or you need to call in a technician. Cheers and happy Mylotting

Er no. Never happened to me thank goodness. I have an Apple computer and it doesn't run the dreaded Windows. If a program should freeze all that I have to do is press the shutdown and relaunch and the program disappears and comes back again, not the whole computer. I think that freezing is simply too much information confusing the poor old computer. I know how it feels!

i hope it's your provider & not your computer. i hate it when my computer doesn't do right. it is so much company to me i'm really out of sorts when something is going wrong. hope yours stops doing that. have a good night.

I haven't hand any problems today but yesterday my computer kept freezing up and not just on myLot but also on other sites. I do not know what causes it perhaps just a lot of traffic.

bunny, I have been having the same problem. I do everything you said but no go. I get so frustrated. It must be something here causing this. I sure hope someone answers your post with an answer. leenie

Hi bunnybon7, Sorry that your pc is giving trouble, yes mine was going like that this morning and now and again it will freeze up, don't know if its to do with the weather but its is so annoying. Tamara

Hi bunny! Happy holidays to you my friend! Yes, that does happen sometimes when I am answering my emails from Yahoo. I don't know if it is the Yahoo or Mylot. Sometimes it gets very slow and then freezes and I lose what I just typed and have to type it all over again. It can be very annoying! It happens more often then I care for! I don't know why, but I always answer from my emails anyway. I just hope that it lets me finish without driving me too crazy!

My whole computer does that, sometime I want to throw it out the window. It even does it when I am MyLotting, it takes so long for it to finish doing anything. One of the users said her computer has the hiccups I don't know what mines got. It is fast one minute and the next it like the tortoise, in the tortoise and the hare.

There isn't any problem with the email... the problem is with your computer. There might be virus or malware/trojan on your pc.. try using a good antivirus software and scan your pc with spybot search and destroy (its a software for detecting spywares) I hope your problem will be solved after this..
