He's that new slapstick comedian I think, but in my country, there's a dialect that makes "Borat" an F word...

Yes, I heard about that. I haven't watched the movie so I don't know how I feel about them wanting to sue him. But I heard that they were making racist remarks and they just were really embarrassed, and I also heard that many people are angry about this.

It seems that you will either love or hate the Borat movie. Personally I was no too impressed with the movie. It has few funny moments, but is not worth a trip to the theatre. If you must see this movie, at least to know what all the talk is about, I recommend getting it when it comes out on DVD, then you can turn it off when you have had enough, or at least be haapy that you did not waste too much money on seeing it. At last word of advice, if you are not liking it there is no reason to finish it, there is no rewarding rapup in the end, it just ends, so end it sooner and do something more worth while with your time.

Borat! heee heee heee - extreme comedy here in my book, but can also be considered to be in poor taste. I just watched the movie for the first time last night. It is a laugh-riot! I think he is being sued but I am not exactly sure as to why. I think is has something to do with people interviewed in the movie who were unaware of its real format. Also, I heard something about the town that his character portrays he is from is also suing. I am not exactly sure as to what is really true. There is alot of controversy over it though. If the town really is going to sue, I hope the movie netted enought to give them a hefty settlement. The town looked like it could use some improvements/modernizations. And then I wouldn't have to feel so bad about loving this movie so much, or the funny man who created it.
I think it is one of those movies you either love or hate. But all seriousness aside, this movie had me laughing from start to finish. One of the best comedies I've seen since Napoleon Dynamite. I can't wait to see 'Black Snake Moan' and 'Blades of Glory'. They both look like super funny movies as well.

The film is rude, offensive and downright vulgar! They want people laugh at immoral behavior. He degrades the people of Kazakhstan. That kind of vulgarity is not humorous. What happens to your good morals? Anyway it's just an opinion if others don't agree it's ok. But for me I really don't like it. I'm not against the actor but I just don't like the script.

The movie is hillariously funny. He offends in an innocent way as a foreigner and it is a crazy film.

I'm with you. Where did borat come from. Why is there such a big deal over him? I have no idea.
