Once again am I being selfish??

I lost my grandfather Christmas Day. His funeral is next Sat and I have to go to New Orleans to attend it. Keep in mind that I am 7 1/2 months pregnant and not suppossed to be driving. Well my husband does not like to go to funerals and I understand that very much, but I think when it come to family we should be there for each other no matter what. Am I wrong for wanting him to be there for me?

Nope you are not wrong in wanting him there and even if he doesn't like them (I don't know anyone that does) there is the respect factor and just being there for you.

You are not wrong and he is being selfish. If you are not supposed to drive then please find a friend that is willing to go with you. I am sure your grandfather would not have wanted you to endanger your unborn child. If hubby is being such a jerk about not going then he would not be very good company on such a long drive and you do not need the aggrevation in your condition. Be safe and keep your baby healthy.
