Has anyone ever heard of using trash as power source? According to a news report I saw they are starting to recycle trash as an alternative source of power in parts of South Eastern New Mexico.

Yeah, the technology has been around for awhile (10 years, give or take). I think New York City tried doing this in the 1990s. I forget why it didn't work out...I think it was too expensive.
I haven't heard of that but it's an excellent idea.I hope it works.I would cut down on our power bills and free up needed land for our ever growing population.
