Is it selfish to want to NOT be the hostess?

This year has been the best Christmas ever. We went to my parents' house for CHristmas meal and gift exchange. They cooked, my daughters did the dishes, we all gave and recvd nice, but moderately priced gifts, some of which we made together as a family-togetherness-time project. There were gifts exchanged at work and a potluck meal there, so I didn't have to do a lot there wither, and I didn't have to have people over. We went to my firends' houses to visit, rather than having them come here.
Don't get me wrong, I like people, and I don't begrudge having guests over and I ususally like to be the hostess, but this year it was a nice treat to not have to cook, or to clean up after (not like you do in your own house -- we help with the dishes before we leave, but that's all).
Maybe next year it WILL be my turn again, but this year I thoroughly enjoyed not being the hostess.
Is that wrong?

i wasnt the hostess this year for Thanksgiving or Xmas either. i felt a little guilty about it..but my aunt had specifically requested that we all go over to their new home this year. so we did!
it was great, she is a phenomenal cook and there was more room for ppl and i didnt have to do any of the clean up! which i guiltily LOVED! lol!
