Nowadays, as we know, many good novels or books have been turned into films or TV series. Some of them maybe both great, the book and the film or TV series. However, not all of them. Sometimes you found the film was just rubbish but the story in the book was very very nice.
Then, here comes my question, if you found a story told by a book, but not totally know what's going on there, very good and you wish to know it clear. Very luckily, you got two ways to choose, one is the book, the other is the film, which way you perfer to choose first? The book, or the film?
I am just confuse about the choice now, so your opinion may do me a favor. Thanks in advance.

I have read some good books that were turned into movies and I was disappointed in the movie. so If i know that a book is going to be made in to a movies I would rather see the movie first and then read the book. I then would not be disappointed with the movie.

I think book is good. Because if win film, you must wait another day to wacth it. but if you read a book, you can finished it just in one day.(maybe)

for me i'd read the book first.
the movies normally have a limited time frame and some parts (might be the most interesting parts) can't be filmed because of time or budget.
reading the book allows one to be able to imagine more and that's the fun of novels isn't it. in books, the words are able to speak more than if i watch the movie. words would be more able to bring out the essence of the feelings or the climax of the plot.
