Hi there annjilena!
My grandparents from my mom's side took care of me when I was still a baby and my parents had to work. I think that is very special. I was then, their first grandchild. They are still both alive and I visit them everytime I get to have the chance to do so. My grandparents from dad's side stayed in the United States most of the time but I also have had great experiences with them. They were very supportive of all my endeavors especially my grandfather who never fails to write me a letter every now and then while they were in the US.

I grew up with my grandmother, when I was little she used to rock me, and when I was six she always fed me my favorite foods.

I got to go everywhere with my grandfather..he raised me..but he would always call me his running buddy and say he had been taking me everywhere since he could fit me in his shirt pocket.lol My grandmother on my mom's side moved across the country when I was around 7. She would send me packages addressed to me of special little gifts.I used to live to find a letter or little package from her with my name on the front.

My grand ma used to take me wherever she goes. She was having a man to help carrying me on his shoulders to follow her dutifully wherever she goes. She used to buy me the things to eat in abundance. I remember the days I share everything with that nice man whose shoulders were my throne.
Well my Grandpa was having a small shop to sell peanuts and other eatables in the town. I have to cross his shop to my school every morning. He will be there daily to give four to five paper cones of peanuts for me and my friends. It made me very famous among my friends. It would have hardly cost abut a couple of cents on those days.
No amount of money can bring back that special joy and warmth. Thanks Annjilena for making me remember my Grand pa and Grand ma.

I love my grandma from my mum's side. Despite a life of hardship,my grandma is optimistic and kindness. She doted on me.When I was a baby,She care for me and prepare me all kind of yummy,Even I grow up,she often kept the sweets for me in a big tin for a long time.Sometimes the sweets is dissolve when I visited her.
After graduated,I worked in the other city far from my home town. That day my grandma passed away,I didn't go home.Because no one told me.My family memers worried abour that I grieved too much.
I miss her always.

I remember when I was younger, not by much though, that my Grandmother would take me up to the attic where all her old books were kept. It was like a secret library. I think I got my love for literature from her. I recall the time when I went to the attic with her and she gave me an old box set of the Chronicles of Narnia. I was too young to read them on my own. But my dad read them all to me and then when I was old enough I read them through multiple times. My Grandma would send me books, newspaper articles, letters, photos, and all sorts of neat stuff. I remember one time I admired some mini bottles that she had and later that year she sent me some. They're adorable too...
On my mom's side my Grandpa would discuss cheese with me. I love sharp cheddar and he taught me the importance of savoring the flavor of a good sharp cheese. I think I learned more from that than he knew. To be honest though, I didn't know either of my grandparents very well. And I've always lived many states apart from them.

I dont exactly remember about her but yes i remember that she use to scold me when i spent long hours on computers. I didnt like her for that . but there were many reasons why liked her. she used to praise me in front of everyone about my eating habits. When i asked her to give this or that thing she never denied. I love her very much and missing her.

I am not Ms. Perfect but it should be "when you were small" not when you was small.
When I was little. I really wanted one of those battery operated toy piano keyboards with sounds. My grandma looked everywhere to find and buy one. ONe day she brought one home and gave it to me. It made me feel happy and special that my grandma would do somethign like that.
