What does this saying mean to you?
For me, its means that should find those things in life that make you happy and embrace them with all of you. It means to me that though your financial situation may not be the one that you want, at the end of the day its not really about the balance in your bank account, rather the balance in your life. It means finding that place in your life, where you can welcome each day with a smile, in spite of the ups and downs of life.
In my work, I would do it for free. Obviously since we need money to survive, I expect to be paid. But my point is that I find joy in what I do to make a difference in peoples lives.
Being a mother has brought me the greatest joy. Fortunate for me, financially I've never seen any struggles in this respect. But in my joy it is not about the things that I can buy or provide, but the intangible aspects that bond a mother and child.
I absolutely love my life, and I am living the life that I love. What about you?

What a wonderful post! I'm really close to living the life I love, and I'm determined to get all the way there. Being broke makes things hard, but it's not the end of the world. This, too, will pass, and life will get better again for us all.
Happy 2009!

This wasn't ever expected to be such an issue. Maybe a shift in Americans' thinking (and everyone else's) will help us do better. We'd do well to be rid of the "What's in it for me" mentality that got us into so much of this mess.

This is a sensible course of action and the healthiest choice to make. I have always made it a point to do the best I can at whatever I do and to enjoy each day. Others that I know who have more than me in terms of materials things often whine about this or that. I think they do not know how to be happy. Knowing how to be happy is a different way of being rich.
I would hate to think that anyone who is a mother would not love being a mother, because people do have a choice, generally. But there are some who do not. God help their children.

This line or phrase means; we should love ourslef no matter what. Love yoursefl first before loving other people and always try your best to find something that will improve yourself or life. If you want to live well, you must have a goal and aim for that. If you reache the goal, you will be successful and living like a king.
