Was the year 2008 a BLESSED YEAR for you ?

Hi zatak! It was great to know that you have a great year in this 2008. Like yours, I considered year 2008 as blissful to me. Lot of things happened to me that I am very thankful about of. This year, it was when I flew here in the states to finally to be with my husband. Trials is undeniable to everyone and we are too glad that we surpasses most of it. Until now we are striving especially with this economic crisis, though we never denied how bless we are for this year. We are also hoping to have another more blessings for upcoming years. This was definitely a very blessed year for me and my family. We welcomed, not one, but two new granddaughters into the world and my husband's brother had successful surgery to remove the cancer from his throat that would have killed him. My youngest daughter graduated from high school so it was a memorable year for her as well in that regard. As 2008 ends we are all healthy and holding our own in these tough economic times so it's been a pretty good year.

This year was not so good in one big way and in a couple other smaller ways was good. My health keeps seeming to improve, with very little baby steps. I got to move from one place I did not like to a place I really like a lot. But on the bad side, and what has shaded the entire year was that in June my daughter's husband and the father of their little one year old baby was killed in a motorcycle/tree collision. This holiday season has been difficult for her I am sure. This entire last 6 months has been a horrible time of adjustment for her and their son. But she is getting through it and is strong. It has been difficult for all of us to even think of what she has been having to deal with this year. They were only married just under 7 years.

2008 is definitely a wonderful year for me. Though there is a crisis for this year and my company has been reduced our working days, but being an online earner this year makes all of my financial shortages offset by my online income, so a great year for me. And in the coming year, I am projecting more opportunities to make myself positive and I am doing pro-active approach right now to developed more leads until the end of this year so that it will be smooth when the new year comes.

I have to say even with the tough times around here it was a very special and blessing year for my family. As for we have the love that kept us going when the tough times got worse. Plus this was the year that my hubby and I had another baby boy who was born on May 6th. The reason he is a blessing this year is because we were told that it would be very hard/impossible to have more children after we had our first son. But look we were blessed this year with our newest little boy. So I have to say that 2008 was good to me. Happy Mylotting

hi everybody, First let me wish you all a fantastic new year. 2008 has been a wonderful year for I got employed , shifted to a new home , resolved several issues. I have been to Germany and successfully completed my MBA. I thoroughly enjoyed myself everyday in my life. Socially , it brought me a good recognition. it took me close to my faculty with whom I can discuss my personal issues. More importantly, It made me more spiritual. And you know guys, more spiritual, more peace, more peace means less tensions and stress which generates happiness. Therefore, this has been a wonderful year and expecting 2009 to be nicer than this. once again wish you all a wonderful new year. Thank you.

2008 has truly been an interesting and wonderful yr. for me. Like you said, there have been some ups and downs and definate learning experiences but God has been faithful to see me thru. Many times just when you think you are ready to give up, all we have to do is turn to god and know he will get us thru. Glad to hear your yr. was good and wishing you the best for 2009 as well.

I guess looking at the whole year it was not a bad year really, I think for me things went pear shaped around October on a personal level and carried on pearing until the weekend just gone. I am hoping that now things will even back out and that next year will be a better, happier year for me but also for my dear cousin in law and her family who have suffered so much this year it is them my main thoughts are with.

Yes, it was an excellent year! Not because everything went perfectly. On the contrary, there were struggles this year and yet..... my God is always faithful to see me through! Happy New Year, my friend!

2008 was rough but i had a lot of good things come from it. i had my daughter, i started a new job, and i got engaged. those were the highlights lol other than that it was ROUGH, but well worth it in the end im just glad it is over

hi i can say that 2008 was as a blessed year for me. why because this year i have had started a relationship that lasted for almost 10 months now. it is a long distance and a virtual relationship but i am happy and we have plans already. although it has been a tough year career wise but then thank God that i be able to surpass them all. i am hoping and praying that 2009 is a better and fruitful year. i guess its the matter how are we looking at things and the days to come. we just need work hard, trust God and His will to all of us then the rest will be given to us according to our needs. nice discussion i ranked it positive.

On the whole,It has been a wonderful year. My son was born in May,this gave me the biggest happiness.I enjoyed most of the time to look after my baby.

Well for me this year would have to be just an ok year just with my partner not working it was jst a lil hard but my children still had a great xmas and that was all that matters to me but alrounder my year was pretty good.

Definetly Not!!!! It is a hard time for me in my high school years!!! my classmates are such jerks!!!

Very very blessed. There have been several crisis type things this year, including the deaths of brothers for both my husband and myself. I am not going to list all the problems, I am just going to tell you how faithful and good God has been. Through the bad [and the good] it is God's strength that has helped us go through. He is our rock, our comfort. We are so blessed, doubly blessed as we live in a country where we are free to worship our God.
