marijuana! is it a dangerous drug???

At age 19 I discovered Pot. Wow! "I thought this is the life". I heard different versions of it of how safe or Dangerous it is to use. I quit for seven years realizing it was a stupid thing to do. Yet with all the economy problems i had this year 2008, I got a doctor's prescription to smoke it legally. It took over my life very quicly. I lost the friends who don't use and realized that those who use do it to scape from te reality of life. I started Hiding and put work a side. all of sudden smoing a joint was all I had on my mind. Wheter Safe or Not What do you thik abou Marijuana and do you think its Dangerous

Its dangerous.
I've never smoked in my whole life and don't ever plan to.
How can a doctor legally make you smoke something that's so dangerous?
In my opinion, that's a bad doctor.
You need to find yourself a new doctor, and don't go abck on it.

I AGREE COMPLETELY! doctors that do prescribe it have a hidden agenda to get it legalized. because theres NO reason to prescribe it. there are prescriptions that have THC that do the EXACT SAME THING. so why would there be any reason to prescribe it to ANYONE. theres not. execept doctors with hidden agendas! BAD doctors willing to give anyone anything, and hurt whoever they give it to.

i think it is very dangerous. i have watched friends ruin their lives be deciding to smoke pot. i have watched family members hurt themselves by choosing to start. i dont think that many people realize that they are hurting more people than just themselves by smoking.
it is wonderful that you stopped for seven years but i think that if you have already lost friends from starting again then you should probably get rid of your prescription and get help to stay away from it.
you only have one life.

I don't smoke it but i have friends who do, I don't see any sense in smoking it and I can see how it can affect people so i would never take it up but i do think people have the right to do so if they so wish and i certainly wouldn't give up my friends because they smoke it, I think that is a person choice but it is good if one doesn't take it up in the first place.

People say its harmless, but look at all the medical problems they suddenly get, people say its not addictive, but try to get them to quit. People who smoke pot spend every minute of their day trying to get it. They live for it. It starts off casual, and then it takes over their lives. I've seen it so many times. And the people doing it deny it. They can't see what its doing to them, so they don't care. Its very dangerous.
