What is your favorite Karaoke music?

We are doing a karaoke talent show in our town to raise money for the two karate kids to go to the 13th Irish cup next June.
It sounds like it will be a lot of fun...but we are having trouble coming up with a tune to sing to! So, what is your favorite Karaoke tune?

Oh my goodness! You would absolutely love it! The best thing is..everyone tries! You don't have to be a "Karen Carpenter". you just have to have the nerve to get up on the stage! The best part is, everyone claps...even if you don't have the best of voices! It is soooo much fun!
Promise me, that you have the chance, you will try it! Pretty please....

I LOVE karaoke! LOL I go out with girlfriends and have a few drinks. By the end of the night I always end up serenading one of my friends (whichever one looks to be having the least fun 
) with You've Lost That Loving Feeling. And if I'm not on a raised stage where someone could get seriously injured (someone like... me, for example) I knee-slide across the floor to said friend, resulting in maximum embarrassment for her.

I must admit I hate karaoke and people that torture others with their music attempts but you have a noble cause so that it justified.
It might sound silly but "Can't touch this" by MC Hammer would be cool. Everybody likes(or used to like) the catchy tunes,it's easy to dance to and the lyric are easy! The only problem is that not everybody can rap,even as mild as that and the lyrics might be a bit inappropriate for the event. Well,if you have someone creative around you can change them,that's what we used to do at school. Maybe your kids could show a couple of cool moves to go with the music

You are so right! Not everyone can do the karaoke thing...and lots of people think they can sing, when they really can't! ME included..LOL!
On the other hand, my 10 year old boy has such a talent! He is more of a balladeer though, recently singing "Mary did you know?" for our county Christmas Concert. They request him every year and coming up with new material is starting to become difficult!

Thanks! Those pants don't make any sense but,unfortunately,I barely started school when the song came out and I never got a chance to wear them! What a disappointment!

My daughter and I used to do a duet that Reba MacIntyre did I can't remember the other singer. I think the title is 'Does He Love You.' It's been a few years since we did it. Anyway the first line says does he love you, like he loves me. Well the idea is good if you can figure out which song I mean. It was really a hoot seeing a teenager and a middle aged women sing this song to each other.
