I GIVE UP!!! I've been trying to earn enough tickets to get the mid level armor for my P.O.H. for days now. If I get the other teams flag it's a pretty safe bet I'll score. Problem is I keep having these NOOBS on my team who take the other teams flag just to let them take it back. I then have to spend the rest of the match chasing it down. Of course my opponent who reclaimed their flag has a half dozen guards protecting him so when I finally do catch him I'll be fighting FOREVER. I'll kill a few of his guards but by the time I reach him they've already respawned & returned to continue fighting me. If I do ever get the flag bearer killed one of his guards will likely grab the flag while I have my hands full. Another 20 minute match goes buy... still no reward tokens. Heck it's bad enough only getting 2 tokens for winning or 1 for tying , but 0 over & over again bites. If your under level 100 DON'T TOUCH THE OTHER TEAMS FLAG!!!!!!!!!!! Is anyone else as annoyed by this minigame as I am? How do you feel about it?

i can understand your pain :D i have played the mini-game only for a few times and have mostly been in the winning team (luck me). but i had the same problem with the game, it takes too long and the reward is not much and that too is IF you win the game. since my membership time is limitted, only during the summer vacations, i barely give castle wars much time.

The armors you can buy with your reward tickets aren't even all that good. If it wasn't displayable in the P.O.H. I wouldn't bother going after it myself. The minigame really needs an update.

and i don't like their colours either... but i know it earns bragging rights if you have all the trophies in your P.O.H.

I let my son answer this as he knows more of runescape than i do. I personally understand what you are saying but some people find castle wars a fun way to gain a bit of xp. The bad thing is the way anyone can enter. I think they should add an update for different categories of levels, as they hav with pest control. Although annoying everybody was a low level before and they can only handle so much punishment from higher players. Perhaps getting the armour as a trophy is a small waste of time as it's not going to benefit you much.

I don't have a problem with lower levels playing. I have a problem with lower levels not having the sense to know that they shouldn't take the flag. They can defend our castle, flag or even the high level player who's running our opponents flag to the base, but they shouldn't touch the flag themselves. Soon as they do there's no chance for our team to score again.

i don't play castle wars anymore, purely for this reason... i don't really care if i win or loose, that's not my problem as i throw the tickets away anyhow, but it gets me annoyed when lower lvls go after the flag knowing full well they will die and the other team will hide their own flag (messing up the game totally). the only thing i can suggest, is to look on the events forum and see if there is a highish lvl clan that plays on non cw worlds. other than that, tout for your own higher lvl clan to play cw a few hours a week.

Good point. Perhaps I should look for a clan castlewars event & join up.

Castle wars looks like a funny game to me! I'm not member yet (why do you think im here) But i heard its hard but not that hard is it? I love runescape! So jagex probably made that game good as well! Well see!

Oh it's fun. It's also VERY annoying when the low level players act like fools & let the other team get their flag back. Then it's just an annoying pain. If the noobs had more sense then it wouldn't be so bad.

I know exatcly what you mean when the lvl 70s try to be heroes and it never pays off
