What is the best chrismas gift you receive this year?

My best Christmas gift was a Swarovski crystal unicorn. Which sounds ho-hum until you know the story. I've wanted that baby for 5 years, ever since I first laid eyes on it. But it was more than $300, which we couldn't afford. Even when the price dropped to just over $200, there was no way. Then it hit $180, and I thought to myself, "Soon." Then one day back in September, the price was $123 - a third of it's original worth. I called my husband, told him the price, and asked if I could get it. He said we'd talk about it when he got home. When we talked about it, he said he didn't see how we could spend that much money, even though it WAS a great deal. I finally said that I didn't care how much I would have to budget or for how long, I was buying it the next day. But when I got there, it was gone. I cried, and I was so angry at my husband, and he felt so bad for me. But he was the one who bought it out from under me! When I opened it Christmas morning, I cried like a baby. Best present ever.

Oh cool,that's great! mine was a digital camera. It's actually a budge one and not the top of the line model that I originally wanted. But it's a very good choice. It takes great pictures and had some pretty good features. Plus, the battery life is great. :) I was going to get it using my online earnings, but my dad paid for it, which is even better! :)

My best gift was to have my children and my husband all with me and all of us being healthy. I am not much into material things, so I really value those things that we often take for grante, especially during the holidays.
