References to comic book characters in 'Heroes'

I wanna see some myLot comic book nerds over here! There are some obvious ones, like the characters themselves, but my favorite was with the super fast lady. *spoiler (small)* In an episode of Superfriends (old superhero cartoon) the flash traveled back in time by running around the Earth really fast a bunch of times. They did that! I was laughing my head off. */spoiler* The question: Did anybody see things in heroes ripped directly from a comic book? Anybody know of some lesser known powers that are also in comic books, maybe the girl that makes everyone's eyes black?
