Myself I was very poor in maths during my school days, it was really very difficult for me to solve the answers of some questions, used to fill sick when the maths exam comes and I somehow manage to pass getting margin marks only. Now as the years pass I realise that because of my negligence and not taking interest in the subject only had made me face that situation.

Hi achinthya
You can learn now also,if your job demands the knowledge of maths.
You can learn at any age if you have the desire to learn.
There is no use of repenting of your schooldays now.
I was very good in maths, and it was very helpful in my technical studies.
Happy mylotting

I've never really been good at math and I realize that it is probably due to a lack of serious effort on my part. I'm in college now and will be taking my second Statistics class for my Psychology degree.
I'm going to have to work very hard in the next few months, but it should pay off. (I hope.)

neither I was good in maths.. even if has the degree in this subjects, it always has been a dark hole for me... I couldn't stand it because problems have only one solution.. instead, in writings you can write what you want... now I study languages at university... I find easier to study russian that's very different from my language (that's italian), than to study maths or to count without using fingers... anyway, I always got good marks because I copied from my school mates during test.

Don't worry If you struggle and have faith in God you can pass this through, why can't you check some scholarship if its available in your place that will help for further studies or check if there is bank that will give educational loan? Best wishes hope you'll become what you dreamt.

hi achinthya,
what is your current job? why you said that due to your negligence in math it made you face the situation now?.. eummmnn.. is not that you are poor in math you just love what you are doing for you to excel,.. its just like in my situation, since when i was in grade school i am poor in our filipino subject so when i reached college i strive and i learn to love the subject so that it will be easy for me and i may able to pass on it.. just learn to love what you are doing, if it deal with math, just use calculator--its a great help, or any reference materials, you can also asked from help to your friends.. just explore..math is easy.. just know the basics of it.. for sure sooner or later you will enjoy! =)

I am good at maths and I believe that anyone can be. People espicially students in school struggle in maths mainly because when they see a question with numbers and formulas they have a panic attack. The key to maths is taking small steps, spliting the question into steps and rather then try to complete it in one go. The small steps build up and you find yourself having completed the question.

Math is a subject that I can not stand. I never could understand it. The basics I do understand. Addition, subtraction, division and multimplication. I did alright on those problems. Give me anything more complicated and I would have major problems. So needless to say I did not become a book keeper or any thing like that.

Im not good at math either. Even before when I was in school until now. I always get low grades when it comes to math. I even had math tutors when I was in elementary and college. My course in college had only 2 math subjects. I was very relieved because Im not good at math. Whenever I have a math assignment, I would ask my parents or classmates to help me out.
