how many hours you spend infort of your computer?

the computer has created an enclosure in our life and at the same time makes us feel the world is a small village when it has access to the internet. this also makes us spend hours in enclosure and confinement with our personal PC.
how many hours do you spend in front of the computer?
what problems you face because of it in your personal life?
what problems it creates in your mental and physical life too?
do wish to know the merit and demirits of sitting to long in front of the computer.

There was a time I spend about 16 hours a day or more on my computer. I spent most of my career as a work-aholic and it almost cost me my marriage.
Well I am happy to say I am still married to the same women and it's been 26 years now.
I now have new rules for working.
I get up at 5am every day. I just seem to wake up at that time, I don't ever use an alarm. Probably from my workaholic days.
Now I work Monday to Friday and take week ends off.
I like to start early but I finish my day by noon and then the day is my own to do what ever I wish to do.
No more ridiculously long days and the week ends are for fun and family now.

thanks for sharing your vast experience..there are things to be learnt from u.
your suggestion are respected with care.
most of the company in our region work from monday to friday so we make maximium outings in fun with rest, relax and sleep on the weekends. family togetherness to play a good role in peace of mind and de-stress from our past pressures of the week to be refresh to dash the coming week wih ful energy.

ur usage of short period will help you be out of eye problem and back ache which we people who spend long hours have.

Nice way of putting forward the questions.
Its not good to spend too long in front of a computer. I spend almost six hours because I will have to work on it.It has several demerits. It can cause severe back ache,of which I too sometimes suffer from.It can also cause eye related problems.
