I never used to shop online as I had a fear of being scammed or ripped off somehow. I eventually started with little things like movies or cd's and the likes. Small items that wouldn't cost a lot and clearly I knew what I was buying. I since upgraded to larger items and even clothing. The clothing I was really skeptical of because the colour can appear different depending on how good or bad of a monitor you have, the quality may be different than what you expected, you don't get to feel the material and it's always best to try stuff on. But to this point I have had zero issues. The fear of online shopping has become so large that many retailers have top of the line security features to not only keep your information private but to make you feel at home as well. I've also found the better sales are online so you can find your items much cheaper. However, being Canadian I really have to make sure the product is coming from Canada. If it isn't, and coming from the United States or other places, the shipping price is usually much larger, plus border fees and border taxes. Add the totals and extra fees and it's not worth it. I have become quite comfortable with the process though and I'd say I do more shopping online now than I do in stores.

It took me years to finally take the plunge as I did not trust online shopping. However some of the computer sales I needed the deals and I did not want to shlep from store to store. I have been shopping online for three or four years now but I only use major retailers that I trust and only order things from within my country. It is a small feeling of protection, but I feel I do not truat m overseas venders much. I did make an exception once to deal with the goverment of United Kingdom for some stuff but that was an exception ald if you cannot trusts UK governments wh can yoy trust.
It usually only takes tow or three days to ship, I think the longest was a week so it is really not long to wait if you are getting a bargain and saving money.

It does make things alot easier so you don't have to run all over crteation shopping at stores. The only thing
I have with shopping online is you have to use a credit card and you don't know if
your personal infomation will be gotten hold of by someone you don't wat to. Alot of companies have
a secure site but I still am hesitant about it theft fraud that's the word i was
looking for. If you ever decied to do it be careful and make sure they are a legit company.

I don't shop online.I'm afraid that I would be scammed so as long as I know where to buy the things I need, I would not try it. I don't use the net for shopping online instead I surf and find the address of the seller to make sure where I will buy things.
