Year 2008 - Was it successful, Please share your experience

Hi Dear Sree thanks for ur nice wishes ans wish u all the best toooo What else whats going On Well, my year 2008 was Ok personally but professionally sure it was not good as world wide recession and situation of our country too. and yr 2009 seems to be scary as well with respect to business of company, i work in Lets see, what happened

Thanks for the nice wishes, Sreekala. Happy New Year to you also and to your family. 2008, was ok for me, there are some ups and downs, but I guess it was better compare to 2007. I also wish for you to be successful on this coming new year.

I made many good friends here on mylot (including you) in the year 2008 and shared my views and thoughts with them and in the process learnt a lot. It was a great fun on mylot and it was my second successful year here. HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009 to YOU!!

The year 2008 has been the worst year in my life. I encountered many difficulties and frustrations, which affected me greatly. The first is that my graduation paper was evaluated anonymously, which ususally took over 2 months. As a result, I couldn't graduate at the same time as other students. My graduation was delayed 3 three months, which led to an awful consequence. The school where I had passed my four year undergraduation studies turned down me because of this. So when all my classmates and friends had found jobs, I was still struggling to find a job. Fortunately, I finally got a job. But this year is the worst in my life. It's fortunate that 2008 will say goodbye to me soon.

Hello There! Yes, for me it is sort of a successful year for me even though I haven't got what I wanted for my career but i believe that I am one step closer to what I really want in my life. Yeah, problems, we always have that but I managed to make a solution for that... Looking back, everything was fine. I just hope next year, it will be better... Looking forward for New Year of 2009! Hello Sree...well looking back at the year 2008,which is almost going to end......I can only say that I am really going to feel sad about saying good bye to year 2008....Yes it was a very wonderful and eventful year for me,and I had many good and unexpected things happening to me right from the beginning of 2008......infact I can say that the year 2008 was a lucky year to me,and I hope the good luck and happiness will carry over to the year 2009 as well....... And I hope you too will also have a HAPPY AND FRUITFUL 2009 as well,Sree......Good luck....

Thanks Sreekala.I wish you an awesome New Year. 2008 has been a very good year for me.I have made many strides on financial side.The new business I have started in the middle of 2008 started to pay good dividends and seems to be very promising.I could not have asked for more in 2008.As usual the God has been kind to me in 2008 too.

Well so so, not very good but not bad either. It was an uneventful year for me and went off as expected. I do so hope that 2009 would also be an equally smooth year for me. Good things while they last are good but bad things can really upset one’s plans and I don’t want that to happen.

The year 2008 witnessed me scaling new heights in my profession.I am thankful that I almost became self sufficient in the year.I think it is the year in which I have written the most number of competitive exams the results of which is expected in 2009.20088 gave me a lot of new experience.I was elevated to the upper rungs of many organisations.I got a plenty of new friends in the last year.Especially friends from abroad and a best friend from US.We exchange gifts and presents occassionally.Altogether 2008 was an year of proportionate growth for me.What about you.

Consider everything I cannot say it was a bad year for me. There were some changes in my professional life but it was a good one when it come to personal matters. Failures and success are part of life and one has to learn from them

Well coming to your question, 2008 is a very good year for me cos i started earning online and I am doing pretty good in that. I am not sure whether I can do it in 2009 but I have earned some dollars in 2008 which I am happy about..

Year 2008 is a year of WAAT for lot of people..and for me too..had to face a lots of ups and down.hope to bid this year of WAAT a goodbye forever and to get a new cheering and successful year ahead... HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL IN ADVANCE

yes....2008 almost a sucessful one for me....but i suffered a lot in that year...after suffering from many humiliating days i suceeded 2008....first my 3rd sem result..i cleared all the papers...this happened in january 26th....then my kerala trip or tour...i enjoyed alot....then my summer coaching....i got the two wheeler license....then 4th sem started....some dry papers...due to wrong evaluation i failed in one paper...but after re valuation i passed in that paper...gods grace....i lost my representative post due to earlier failure in a paper...then 5th sem an enjoyable after re valuation....then chatting with girls...then horrible 5th sem examination...then my winter holidays and winter coaching class...this is my experience highlights in the year 2008

i am almost 3 months late!!only half a day to go!!the year 2008 was a happening year for me.(negatively)my hubby got a job in chennai,so i had to move back to my parents place till he found a accomodation for me and kids,but unfortunately he had to leave his job and i couldnt join my hubby as my kids had taken admission in a school near our parents place.hope 2009 proves good for us.

The year 2008 was just okay for me. Nothing gained and nothing lost. The only thing new that I have done is earning online. On the personal front things have not been too great. Just hope 2009 will be much better. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND ALL AT HOME.

Happy New Year to you, Sreekala! 2008 has been a mixed year. I started earning money online, that was the great part. But I had some family problems too and they still have not been solved fully. So I hope that everything will be settled by next year. I hope to earn more money online next year and spend more time with my daughter!

Let's see... Best friend killed himself before I could see him again after 4 years and restart our friendship. Mom is rotting away in a nursing home thanks to dementia. I had a job recession of my own earlier this year until I finally settled into a full time job in July. Hmmm... I would grade it 1 out of 10. I will wish myself a (hopefully) Happy 2009.

year 2008 was great for me. My life took a big turn in this year and I am in to new phase of life now. Hope the initiatives which I have take this year will continue and I can be more successful in coming years also. I will you and your family a HAPPY new YEAR.

At the end of 2008 i set firm resolve,to finish many year hiring out for working professions finally. The review soon past in 2008,had loses the desconsolate helpless with to feel sad,but also had the short joy.Facing 2009,only than strives to improve self-confidently can harvest the hope and suceed.
