Crying...

We cry for different reasons. We cry when we are so happy over something. We cry when we are broken hearted. We cry when somebody accuses us about something we didn't do and we cry to ease our miseries.
They say that crying is good because it makes us feel more comfortable when we cry and burst out our feelings. I don't cry very often but I do cry over something I feel sad about. I cry sometimes by watching sad movies.
The last time I cried was when my sister called from Canada and told me something that I couldn't accept. That was the last time I cried and that was only a month ago.
How about you? Do you often cry? Why did you cry and when was the last time you cried?

my mother used to complain about my being so sturdy and so hard. no one and nothing can make me cry. she told me that it is bad never to cry. it burdens the heart so much if one keeps all the hurt and disappointments inside the system. i might develop heart disease at a very young age, she said.
now that i am of age, a complete turnaround happen. i cry very easily. even thoughts that cross my mind which is touching enough can trigger the fall of a stream of tears.
this has happened to me from the time i have to deal with growing up kids. whenever i am at a loss as to how to deal with them, or how to discipline them, i cry stream upon stream of tears unto the Lord in prayer so He will help me with the burden.
then my youngest child got afflicted with leukemia. i fought with him his battles so bravely. no tears were shed then. i just keep on thinking of ways on how to extend his life. then God's miracle happened. when the time came that the doctors gave up on him, God made him make it through. all the more that i get so easy to touch and so easy to drive to tears. i always cry, almost everyday. as everyday i say my morning and evening prayers. i cannot help but shed tears of thankfulness that my son lives till this day.

Women do get more sensitive when we have kids. The love we have for our kids make us that tender and make us cry for little things especially with regards to our children.
I'm sorry about your child. I pray that he gets well and live a long life.

They say that men don't cry but I'm glad about men who cry out when they feel like crying. Crying and weeping are the same, they are synonym words that means to shed tears.

I cry over everything. I am so soft hearted my dad used to tell me if someone looked at me cross eyed I would cry. It was probably truer when I was younger. I guess the last time I cried though was over something with my kids. They tend to make me shed tears often. Either when they have done something I am proud of or if they have reached a milestone. One will be graduating next May and I will be crying often until then.

You sound like my sister who cries with the touch of the hand. She cries over everything and sometimes her kids just laugh at her. I think there are people who are as soft hearted as you and my sister but that is nature and I think it is a good way to make people look young always. My sister is older than me for three years but they often say that I look older because I don't cry a lot.

yes you are same like me and i also cry like wathicn films like a scene in Bangkok dangerous where the nicolas cage is found shooting two thughs in front of his girlfriend and that moment changes the love of his life and the music that played in the background was also very touchy so i think there are moments where persons usually cry although if we tell them to other s then they are gonna laugh a lot

Some people cry when they watch films that are sentimental and you are right in that other people laugh at people who cry when they watch films.

Lately I have been crying at least once a week. The #1 reason I cry is stress. I often feel like I have a lot of built-up emotion/tension/stress and there is no other way to get rid of it, than simply crying it out.
I like to keep a positive attitude and smiling face in front of my husband and kids, so I cry only while laying in bed, after everyone has fallen asleep. It's just so much easier for me to get it all out when I am alone.

You are doing right by crying out your stress. Crying makes us feel better. You should try to talk to other people. Why don't you explain how you feel to your husband. It would help to talk about it with someone rather than keeping it all to yourself.

i understand what you are going through, stejhas. i have been through all that before. the only difference between us is, i was single parenting all of my three kids. you can just imagine how hard it was then. so, when all three children are asleep, i cry out loud literally while saying my evening prayers unto the Lord. there is no one else who can help me. that's how i see things to be, only the Lord God can help me.

No, I don't cry often, now even when I watch the movie, I try to control not to cry, I don't know why, just don't like crying.
Since I gratuaded from my college, finding the job, I cried just several times, most is for my terrible job. To be honest I don't like the job at all. The last time I cried just because my leader criticised me, I felt unhappy. That is about one month ago.

The last time I cried was about 3 days ago.I was walking on the path of my school, and just received a call from my roommate.I had forgotten to get a seat for her.She sounded quite angry. At that time,I just lost my card, which was very important to me.So I called my parents. They didn't know anything. They told me to eat more and try to stay happy. They also told me that Nanjing was getting colder and colder, and I should put on warmer clothes.my tears came down when I listened to them because I felt that in this world, there were still some people caring about me.I'm not lonely.
Now my roommate has forgived me,and I got my card again.I became happy again!

Yes, crying is the body is better and can give vent to a bad mood. I was a kid crying frequently, in order to test examination worse for others condemned quarrel with their families. Now, I have grown up, is no longer so easy to cry. And I also as a male, but also will not be easy to cry. But if the encounter made me very happy or sad thing, I will shed tears again. Because crying is to express what I was feeling. I hope I Forever's cry ,are streaming out of the tears of happiness. I also wish you cry are for the future well-being.

I don't cry too often, though the last time I did was only a few days ago, at Christmas. This time of year is very bittersweet for me because now I have my fiance's family, which is really huge and makes me feel welcome, but my own family I saw get broken up over teh course of many years, and now my mom is pretty much all I've got. And what's worse, it wasn't fair to my cousins and I because we were all just kids and were not involved in the family's issues. So, every time Christmas rolls around, I'm happy to be around a big family again, but I cry my eyes out over not having my own family around. It really sucks.

I don't cry often at all. As a matter of fact I can't really remember the last time I cried. I wasn't grown up like that. Being male makes it a little harder to cry. Normally people would be like what are you crying for? Be a man. So growing up it's programmed into me. This actually cause problems because I can't really express my feeling in words and hardly in action. But I do get sad but my throat just closes up a little bit and maybe on tear may come out of my eye but I don't cry.

I don't cry often but if I should cry or feel like crying, tears will definitely come and I won't try to hold them. We've been gifted to ability to cry to express our sorrow and pain, I believe crying does help emotionally, making me feel better at the worst of times.
The last time I cried, a few months ago was when I lost a dear friend. It seemed so unacceptable that such strong bonds that I thought had existed between two person can break that completely for no solid reason. I was so sad about it, I just had to let myself cry and relief it a bit though it still hurts me till today.

Masmasika,
Yes, we cry for all kinds of reasons. I cryed today, because someone was thoughtful. They did not see me cry though. I know that for me I have not allowed myself to cry much any. Things can happen in life that turn off the emotional button in us. That is sad in its own self, but still it happens.
Tears are a healing part of our body and it is good for the soul. There is not a right or wrong to whether someone does or does not cry, it is just them and accept them are they are.
