since i came to mylot i was surprised how many PTC sites are scam and promotors of that sites must be persons of questionable credentials.. And most of us use same email and pass word to log in to pay pal the one which we use on their site. now it let me thinking if this is true with many persons..is it not possible for these kind of promoters to use these scam sites to hack your pay pal and alert pay accounts and run away with your hard earned money in the pay pal and alertpay. what are your thoughts about it. I for once is going to change the pass word of both right now.

so far, pay pal has been operating with zero problems encountered through the years. that makes them reliable enough. so sleep tight, friend. just withdraw you money from paypal as soon as yuo can do so.

Paypal is safe. You have to make sure when you get an email from them, it is from then and there are ways to find out: They will address you in the email by your name that you used to join the site, not dear member or dear customer. And Paypal will never send an email saying "because of internal security, etc. please enter your password," they will tell you to go to the Paypal site itself to find out any information. I think it is the same with Alert Pay, they would address you by your name and not "dear customer" OR "dear member" and would never send you scary emails about losing the password, thief on the premises, etc.
You do have to use a hard to remember password, and watch to see if there is https on top and not just http, and the padlock at the bottom. A good way to find out if an email is a scam, is to show all headers.

don't worry so much about this, agrim. they are safe enough to deliver your money that you have learned from onlne sites. as to being so safe that you can treat them like the way you deal with banks, then that is a different story.

I don't know about alert pay, but I know that PayPal is very safe. As long as you don't give out your information, or answer any of those phishing emails, you'll should be absolutely fine.

Paypal is very safe, they have some codes designed to keep the fraud and things like that to a minimum. Although, no system is 100% foolproof...

I think its safe because I have done transaction through Pay pal when i have brought some thing from E- bay. So there are many big companies doing e-commerce transaction through pay pay. Its safe .

You should open a new email account for paypal only and create a unique password like mappa195pusso231. I think it is the better way to save your money. And of course do not give your paypal email address to any unauthorised, unsafe site.Always see "LOCK" sign of this site. If it is there it is safe, hacked free site.Otherwise your money might be hacked.
