Is Your Resolution Not to Make Any Resolutions?

I have friends who make these huge lists of New Years Resolutions and then they drive themselves crazy with them for the first few weeks of the New Year. Then they lose sight of their goals and I never hear about them again until next year when they make the same list.
I always make one resolution each year -- and that is to not make the same mistakes I made in the previous year.
Do you make resolutions? and if so why?

Ha Ha....that's the same resolution i make every year....not to make any resolutions.
so far it's been working out pretty good for me.
resolutions just turn into disappointment and feeling guilty....that's why i quit making resolutions years ago.
that's not to say i don't set goals for myself throughout the year.

I guess so. I rarely...well, never make a new year resolution. For me new year or Christmas or Easter or birthday is just another day. I prefer to live my life now. Anyway, that's good to set goals for certain time. It can at least motivate us to achieve that. I think sometime I have to set such goal. Maybe the upcoming year. You know, there is always the first time for everything.
